We had a very successful, sun soaked morning on the HMS President in London last week for our enterprise mobility event! Business professionals from a number of different industries boarded the First World War warship to network with and listen to an array of business mobile experts from CCS Insight, Vodafone, Microsoft, BlackBerry and Intercity Telecom.

Talks were focused around key trends in enterprise mobility, a checklist for Mobile Device Management (MDM), what’s new in the Windows Phone portfolio, as well as insight into the Internet of Things and how this is transforming business. The insightful morning was rounded off with lunch and networking overlooking the Thames.

James Allen, Head of Professional Services Sales, commented, “We have had some excellent feedback from our Enterprise Mobility London’s Calling event. It’s always good to add value for existing clients as well as new prospects. The Lumia 640 handset certainly looks like a winner, such a powerful handset at an amazing price! I also like the sound of encrypted calling service from BlackBerry. Exciting times ahead!”

Roger De-Peza, Team Administrator IT & Finance for ActionAid added, “Intercity Enterprise Mobility London’s Calling event is a well thought out concept to provide their existing clients the following mind-set; if you don’t make things happen then things will happen to you”.
