The news comes as Intercity sets out to enhance its mobile offering with optional 5G speeds and unlimited data based upon Vodafone’s offering for its business customers, following the recent launch of 5G across the UK. New Intercity ‘Vodafone high speed tariffs’ will soon be available as upgrades and for new contracts, including new 5G handsets for customers where there is a requirement.

Intercity is Vodafone’s first and longest-standing global independent partner, with a strong and successful relationship spanning over 30 years since the launch of the mobile industry in 1985.

Since becoming Vodafone’s first partner, Intercity has built and retained customer base of around 50,000 customer contracts for Vodafone to a range of enterprise and SME clients, with services including mobile airtime, device management and security, landlines, connectivity and data centre hosting.

Charlie Blakemore, Chief Operating Officer at Intercity Technology said: “We’re immensely proud to have worked with Vodafone for as long as we have. Our long-standing relationship is testament to our team, who continually innovate and provide competitive, tailored packages and excellent customer service for our growing customer base.
